Community Conversations: What do we do now? Fighting fossil fuel infrastructure in the era of Trump

What do we do now? Fighting fossil fuel infrastructure in the era of Trump

Join us on Thursday, December 8 for the second in our Community Conversations series: an update on Standing Rock and an informal discussion on regional fossil fuel infrastructure resistance. We will take a moment to process the implications of the election, and exchange ideas for actions going forward. Learn about 350 Sonoma and our campaigns that address fossil fuel divestment, carbon tax, and carbon sequestration in the soil.
First United Methodist Church - Carriage House, 1551 Montgomery Drive, Santa Rosa.
6:30 PM - Conversation/networking begins (with refreshments)
7:00 PM - Presentations begin.
We will be collecting donations for Standing Rock.

To borrow three points from another local group, Transition Sebastopol:

What we are convinced of is this:
* if we wait for the governments, it'll be too little, too late
* if we act as individuals, it'll be too little
* but if we act as communities, it might just be enough, just in time.

Join us! Join one of our sub-groups! Take on a role and run with it!
